Goa Mukti Divas is celebrated every year on 19 December. The Indian Army liberated Goa, Daman and Diu from Portuguese rule by conducting 'Operation Vijay Abhiyan' on 19 December 1961. For this reason, Goa Liberation Day is celebrated on this day. 4668 Portuguese were imprisoned during the Goa liberation campaign.


2.b. Tripura

The first Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Tripura State will be established in Sabroom. Government information released in this regard has said that Rs 1550 crore will be spent on this project, which will provide skill-based employment to about 12,000 people in this area. This place is about 130 km from Agartala which will help in improving the economic condition of the state.


3.a. Pinaka Mark-2

The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) recently conducted a successful test of the Artillery Missile System Pinaka Mark-2. This system is capable of firing 12 rockets in just 44 seconds. The missile system has been developed with fully indigenous technology in DRDO laboratories. The Pinaka Mark-2 has been developed as a missile by combining navigation, control and guidance systems.

The university's Faculty of Engineering has built this robot in four years. It is named 'Surena'. Weighing 70 kg, the 'Surena' is capable of running at a speed of 0.7 km per hour and can be turned back and forth even on bumpy ground.
